Delaware Valley Friends Announces Christine Zawadzkas as New Assistant Lower School Director/Lower & Middle School Counselor

Ms Zawadzkas will start at DVFS at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year coinciding with the opening of our new Lower School Division

Paoli, Pennsylvania – March 16, 2017 -- Delaware Valley Friends School is pleased to welcome Christine Zawadzkas as the new Assistant Lower School Director/Lower School and Middle School Counselor.

Christine has over 15 years of school counseling experience and joins us most recently from the Montgomery School where she served as their School Counselor. While at Montgomery School, Christine was the coordinator of the Middle School Service Learning Program and developed and coordinated their Multi-Tiered Support Team, which provides a collaborative approach to supporting students’ academic and social needs. Christine has extensive experience in developing and implementing guidance education programs that promote character education for students at both the elementary and middle school levels.

Christine holds a Masters of Counseling Psychology degree from the College of St. Elizabeth and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a Certified School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor.

“Christy is a passionate educator who has both a collaborative and innovative mindset,” commented DVFS Lower and Middle School Director Jason Seggern. “I look forward to working with her and the entire lower and middle school faculty as we continue to build our younger divisions and fulfill our mission as a national leader in serving students with learning differences.”
