Extensive Structural Damage, No Injuries From Lawrence Building Fire

Several township roads were closed Friday morning as firefighters battled the blaze.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A building fire in Lawrence Friday morning resulted in extensive damage to the structure, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.

Around 5 a.m. a dwelling fire was reported on the 3000 block of Lawrenceville Road on US 206. Two structures on the property were damaged in the fire, authorities said.

The cause of the fire has not been determined yet. An investigation is being conducted by the Lawrence Police Department, Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and the Lawrence Fire Marshall.
