Two fire trucks were called to Michaels Art store on Nassau Park Boulevard today. At 11:10am Four firemen entered Michaels wielding axes as water spewed from an open hydrant. Michaels' employees were gathered outside, as curious onlookers watched the action unfold. One witness described the occasional faint smell of smoke. The cause of the incident is not known at this time.
