Former Princeton University Athletic Fundraiser Joins Princeton Area Community Foundation
Diana Leighton has been named the Vice President of Development Programs.

Lawrenceville, NJ -- Diana Leighton has been named the Vice President of Development Programs for the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
“We welcome Diana, who is a great addition to our organization,” Princeton Area Community Foundation President and CEO Jeffrey M. Vega said in a statement Thursday morning. “As part of the development and donor services team, which is led by our VP for Development, Elizabeth Wagner, Diana will support our Fund for Women and Girls, oversee our annual fund and work closely with our fundholders.”
Leighton had been the Associate Director of Capital Giving – Athletics Fundraising at Princeton University, where she directed annual fundraising, cultivation and alumni relations for the 37 varsity teams and their respective Athletics Friends Groups.

She also coordinated endowment and facility fundraising for Athletics. Over a 5-year period at Princeton, she increased annual dollars raised by 84 percent and the number of donors by 140 percent.
She previously served as the Development Officer for Reunions at Columbia University Law School and as the Assistant Director for Annual Fund and Director of Lower School Communications at the Dwight School in New York.

Leighton lives in Princeton with her husband and son. She is a board member of the Princeton University NOW Day Nursery and the secretary of Trinity College Class of 2005. She holds a BA in Political Science from Trinity College.
