LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — After taking a year off in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Coffee With A Cop is back in Lawrenceville, giving residents a chance to enjoy conversation and a cup of joe with their local police officers.
National Coffee With A Cop Day is Oct. 6 this year, and officers from the Lawrence Township Police Department will be at Starbucks on Main Street, from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Coffee With A Cop was originally launched in 2011 in Hawthorne, California, a result of officers from the Hawthorne Police Department looking for ways to interact more positively with the citizens it served.
