Hey Lawrence, Help Your Favorite K9 Officer Win A Grant

Officer Brix needs community votes to win the Aftermath K9 Grant Program.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — There’s no doubt that Officer Brix is one of the favorites of the Lawrence Police Department.

Not only is he obedient and disciplined, but he has also helped solve various crimes. And now he needs the community’s help to win a grant that will help feed, train and keep him in good health.

The Lawrence Township Police Department has registered Officer Brix for the Aftermath K9 Grant Program and needs the community’s help to win by casting votes online.

“If Brix wins this grant, we will use it to buy new training aids and equipment to help keep him in tip top shape,” the police department said on Facebook.

Beginning Thursday, votes can be cast, by anyone every day and up to three times a day. Daily votes can be cast through Facebook and Instagram. To vote for Brix, click here.

Brix is one of Lawrence Police Department’s star officers. In the past, he has helped locate missing and endangered persons, take large amounts of drugs off the streets and helped track down and catch a homicide suspect.

The voting period is between May 25 to June 5. Votes will be tallied after the close of the grant and winners will be announced on June 7.
