ICE Agents Detain 3 Workers At Mercer Auto Repair Shop

Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman said her office is monitoring the situation after federal agents entered Agudo's Repair Shop on Friday.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Three workers at a Trenton auto repair shop were detained by federal immigration agents Friday morning, in an operation that an advocacy group says was captured on the shop's security cameras.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents entered Agudo's Repair Shop on Friday, around 8:45 a.m., according to advocacy group Resistencia en Accion NJ. They then went on to detain three employees.

The group said security camera footage from inside the shop shows agents restraining one worker with his face against a shelf before covering the camera with a cardboard box after apparently noticing they were being recorded.
