Incumbents Lead In Lawrence BOE Race, But Final Tally Will Be Delayed
Mercer County currently has 60 districts left to count, according to County Clerk Paula Sollami-Covello.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – As of Wednesday, three incumbents were leading the Board of Education race in Lawrenceville. But it may take time before the final result is declared.
Tuesday’s “glitch” in the voting machine scanners has resulted in vote tally delays.
According to Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami-Covello, the County currently has 60 districts left to count.

Once all early votes and election day ballots are counted in the remaining 60 districts, a more clear picture is expected to emerge. Counting of mail-in ballots will take longer. Mail-in ballots will be counted if they are received up to six days after Nov. 8, provided they are postmarked by then.

The official results will be certified on or before November 21.
