
Mercer County residents can visit the Tulpehaking Nature Center on Saturday, July 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and give a gift to the animals during a “Christmas in July” celebration.
This family-friendly program is free with donations benefiting the Wildlife Center Friends and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey.
The Tulpehaking Nature Center will be accepting wish list items on behalf of these local charities that work tirelessly to help New Jersey wildlife.

Residents can stop by the nature center to choose an ornament from its Angels for the Animals tree naming a wish list item they’d like to donate. Wish lists will also be posted online at www.mercercountyparks.org.
Then on July 16, they can bring their donation for free admission to “Christmas in July.” At this event, meet and chat with representatives from these charities, enjoy refreshing drinks and cookies, and make a nature craft gift to take home to the animals in your own backyard.

This celebration benefits two local 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that help New Jersey wildlife.
The Wildlife Center Friends is a collaborative partner of the Mercer County Wildlife Center. Wildlife Center Friends' mission is to support efforts to rescue and rehabilitate native wildlife and their habitats through collaborative partnerships and education.
The Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey’s mission is to preserve the imperiled species that call New Jersey home through conservation projects, habitat restoration, research and education of the public.
