Lawrence Township FOP Holding Food Drive For Those In Need

Donations will benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.

Lawrence Township, NJ -- The Lawrence Township Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Lodge #209, will hold a food drive, with donations to benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, this holiday season.

Members of the Lawrence Township FOP will collect donations on Dec. 21, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Slackwood Firehouse, 21 Slack Avenue in Lawrenceville. Santa Claus will also be in attendance for meet-and-greets and photos.

“We’re honored to have the opportunity to give back to area residents this holiday season,” Lawrence Township FOP, Lodge #209 President Tom Everist said. “Joining with our local community, we hope to make a sizable contribution to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen to ensure that the holidays are a little brighter for those in need this year.”

All donations of non-perishable food items are appreciated, including:
· Dry Pasta
· Canned Tuna Fish
· Canned Vegetables
· Boxed Macaroni & Cheese
· Granola Bars
· Instant Oatmeal Packets
· Canned Soup

They are unable to accept glass containers.
