Lawrence Township Man Fatally Shot In Trenton: Prosecutor
Dartanian Ames of Lawrence was fatally shot Saturday morning. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, and Trenton Police are investigating.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A Lawrence Township resident was fatally shot in Trenton on Saturday morning, the Mercer County Prosecutor's office said.
Around 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the 900 block of Brunswick Avenue. On arrival, officers 41- year-old Dartanian Ames of Lawrence, with multiple gunshot wounds, the Prosecutor's office said.
Ames was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later, authorities said. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
