Lawrence Township's Alyson Fischer Recognized As A Certified Athletic Administrator

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) announced the recognition this week.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Alyson Fischer is part of an elite group.

The Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics at Lawrence Township Public Schools, has been recognized as a Certified Athletic Administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), the association announced this week.

To earn this distinction, she underwent a voluntary certification process that included a thorough evaluation of her educational background, experience and professional contributions. There was also a comprehensive written examination.

The association said Fischer is part of an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators throughout the country who have attained this level of professionalism.

The NIAAA is a national professional organization consisting of all 50 state athletic administrator associations and more than 10,000 individual members. It is dedicated to promoting the professional growth of high school athletic administrators and preserving the educational nature of interscholastic athletics and the place of these programs in the secondary school curriculum.
