Lawrenceville Main Street Kicks Off 15th "Music in the Park" Series

The hot ticket in Lawrenceville this summer is free! Thanks in part to a $2,500 grant from Investors Bank, Lawrenceville Main Street is hosting its 15th Annual Summer Concert Series – a free 10-week program with varying styles of music every Thursday evening, which began June 11th at Weeden Park. Balloons, banners, and a 50/50 raffle make summer fun for the whole family in Lawrenceville.

“Lawrenceville Main Street loves to promote local businesses and give people a good time,” said Lindsey Bohra, Executive Director of Lawrenceville Main Street. “We’re here to help businesses and to put on events for the town.”

Lawrenceville Main Street applied for the grant from Roma Bank Community Foundation; Roma Bank became part of Investors Bank in early 2014. The foundation supports non-profit organizations that enrich diverse communities served by Investors Bank.

A Concert Café – a la carte dinner offered by a local restaurant or eatery - precedes each concert at 6:30 p.m. The musical acts take the stage every Thursday at 7 p.m. and range from the local community concert band to rock and country bands.
