Mom Calls Santa On Kids, Gets Ticket From Police

An expired inspection sticker almost results in Lawrenceville woman's minivan being impounded

A Lawrenceville woman who was trying to get her daughters to stop fighting by calling Santa Claus ended up with a traffic ticket herself, according to reports.

NJ.com, citing a report by The Trentonian, said the woman was pulled over in Helmetta after a police officer there saw her talking on her cell phone.

The report did not give the woman’s name, but it said she had been out Christmas shopping with her three daughters, who started fighting in the backseat of the family’s minivan. After several attempts to get them to stop, she pretended to call Santa and report their behavior. A police officer in Helmetta saw the mother on the phone and pulled her over, the reports said.
