Man Shot Inside Liquor Store In Mercer County: Prosecutor
Rayshawn Baines was shot multiple times inside a liquor store on Wednesday night, Mercer County Prosecutor said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A 41-year-old Trenton resident was shot inside a liquor store on Wednesday night, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said Thursday.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the area of 199 Oakland Street. When officers arrived at the location they found Rayshawn Baines shot multiple times inside the liquor store at Oakland St/Hoffman Avenue, Onofri said.
Baines was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are currently investigating the shooting.
