Man Stabbed To Death During High School Basketball Game In Mercer Co.
Khalil Glanton, a resident of Trenton, was stabbed multiple times inside the CURE Insurance Arena, Mercer County Prosecutor said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death Thursday night during a high school basketball tournament, Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.
Khalil Glanton, a resident of Trenton, was stabbed multiple times inside the CURE Insurance Arena around 8:30 p.m. The incident happened after the game between Trenton High School and Notre Dame High School.
He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 9 p.m., authorities said.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police are investigating.
Glanton is a 2019 graduate of Trenton Central High School, according to James Earle, Superintendent of Trenton Public School District.

In a message to the community Friday morning, Earle said the altercation was recorded and posted on social media.
"Students and staff members may have already witnessed in person or viewed the incident online. Administrators have activated the district crisis team for staff members and students who may need support during the school day," Earle said.
Additional law enforcement will be present inside the high school and patrolling the school campus as a precaution on Friday.
"At this time, we are not aware of any current students who may have been directly involved but have contacted those who may be connected to ensure they are not on campus today," Earle said.
