Mercer County Cultural Festival Celebrates Diversity Oct. 11
The festival is at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

The 11th annual Mercer County Cultural Festival will celebrate the diversity of the county’s 12 municipalities on Saturday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
The festival features traditional art demonstrations, live music and dance performances, heritage crafters, activities for children, Native American Chief Gray Owl and his teepee, Double Six domino games and a beer garden.
Special to this year’s event is the International Food Truck Court featuring Thai, Korean, Mexican and Italian fare, Belgian waffles and other traditional delicacies.

The lineup of performers is as follows:
Noon – Csurdongolo, Hungarian folk dance ensemble

12:15 p.m. – The Shantys, Irish folk band
1 p.m. – Prerna School of Indian Dance
1:20 p.m. – Vivaci Ballerini e Voce d’Italia, Italian folk song & dance
1:40 p.m. – Mariachi Nuevo Mexico, Mexican mariachi group
2:25 p.m. – Shen Yun Productions, Chinese Lion dancers
2:45 p.m. – Sabrosongo, Latin music of Puerto Rico, Cuba and Venezuela
3:30 p.m. – Egun Omode, African dance
4 p.m. – Odessa Klezmer Band, traditional Jewish, Gypsy and Romanian music
4:45 p.m. – Ballet Folklorico Peru, Peruvian dance troupe
5:15 p.m. – Shishya School of Performing Arts, Bharathanatyam dance
Admission and parking are free. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the following day, Oct. 12.
