Mercer County To Host Flag Retirement Ceremony On Tuesday

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County will hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony on Tuesday, 6 p.m. at Hamilton Veterans Park, accessible through the Klockner Road entrance.

The ceremony provides an opportunity for residents to properly retire worn or damaged American flags with appropriate dignity and respect.

The solemn event follows traditional protocols for flag retirement, ensuring that Old Glory receives the honor it deserves when no longer suitable for display. Community members are encouraged to participate in this meaningful tribute.

Residents can drop off flags at designated locations throughout the county prior to the ceremony.
