Mercer County to Hold Workshop for Small Businesses
The "Financing Your Business in Mercer County" workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, at the PNC Bank branch located at 1800 N. Olden Ave. in Ewing.

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes is inviting small business owners and anyone interested in starting up a small business to attend a free county program, “Financing Your Business in Mercer County.”
The workshop will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, at the PNC Bank branch located at 1800 N. Olden Ave., Ewing. Space is limited, so please register by contacting the Small Business Development Center at (609) 771-2947 or by visiting www.sbdcnj.com.

The workshop, which is one of a four-part series held annually, will introduce attendees to local government and private funding resources. Sponsored by Mercer County, the Small Business Development Center and PNC Bank, the workshop will include information on PNC Bank commercial financing tools as well as an overview of lending programs from the Regional Business Assistance Corporation (RBAC).
In particular, RBAC will detail its lending packages including the Mercer County Loan Fund – a loan program that helps finance company equipment, improvements and operation costs.

In addition, all attendees will learn about loan requirements and how to prepare a loan package submission.
