Mercer Man Found Dead In Vacant Lot With Gunshot Wound: Prosecutor

Ronald Taylor of Trenton was found on a vacant lot with a gunshot wound, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 40-year-old Trenton man was found in a vacant lot in Mercer with a gunshot wound, Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.

A few minutes after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 2, Trenton police responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue on a man shot. Officers arrived on the scene to discover an unresponsive man in a vacant lot appearing to suffer from a gunshot wound, the County prosecutor's Office said.

The man, Ronald Taylor of Trenton, was taken to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
