Morning Traffic Report: How is Weather Impacting Travel in Mercer County?

The storm that promised to cause havoc with morning traffic followed through with that promise Monday morning.

As snow fell on Mercer County on Monday, traffic was slowed all over:

· There was heavy traffic on Route 1 north from Meadow Road to Washington Road in West Windsor;

· There was heavy traffic on Route 29 north from Route 129 in Hamilton Township to Sullivan Way in Trenton;

· There was heavy traffic on I-295 north from Exit 63 to Exit 67.

NJ Transit is offering systemwide cross-honoring Monday-Wednesday. Riders can use their tickets on all forms of travel, including rail, light rail or bus, and including private bus carriers.
