LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The search for a new superintendent for Lawrence Township Public Schools seems to be at an end.

Current Assistant Superintendent of Student, Robyn Klim, has been selected to replace current Superintendent Ross Kasun and the Board of Education is expected to approve the appointment during the June 28 meeting, the district said. She will begin in her new position on September 2.

Klim is currently completing her doctoral journey and preparing to orally defend her dissertation this fall. Her research is focused on educator needs and curriculum designed to support the social and emotional well-being of all students.

Klim continues to maintain her clinical licensure. As she transitioned to the educational system, Klim worked as a member of the Child Study Team at all levels, including out-of-district students. Her focus has been on optimizing opportunities for students in their community.

During her time at the middle school level, she served as an Anti-bullying Specialist and co-led Campaign Connect initiatives with her Mercer County colleagues while in East Windsor.

Before transitioning to LTPS as the Assistant Superintendent, Klim served the Freehold Township School District as the Director of Educational Services.

“Klim is a Mercer County resident and is thrilled to continue to serve the LTPS community,” the district said. "She prides herself on partnerships and connections with her colleagues.”
