PEI Kids Receives $10,000 Grant From AMC Cares
The Lawrenceville-based charity was among a group of charities nationwide that received a grant from the movie theater chain.

Lawrenceville, NJ -- Lawrenceville-based PEI Kids received a $10,000 grant from AMC Cares, AMC Theaters announced on Thursday.
It was one of 35 charitable organizations that support children and youth nationwide that received more than $3.4 million in cash and kind from the movie theater chain.
PEI Kids works with the child, family and caregiver to provide prevention, intervention and advocacy programs relating to personal safety, sexual abuse and the overall well-being of the child.

For 31 years, PEI Kids has addressed issues affecting children, including child assault, sexual abuse, gang culture and youth violence.
Its prevention program seeks to keep children safe from violence and abuse. Its intervention programs help heal children impacted by violence, crime and neglect.

PEI Kids applied for the grant through amctheaters.com/donations. It was selected by a group of AMC associates from around the country to receive the grant.
