LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - This year the Lawrence Township Recreation Department has found a great way for residents to enjoy summer while exploring township parks.

'Picnic in the Parks' held on Wednesdays gives residents the opportunity to enjoy an evening outdoors while tasting food from local food trucks and eateries.

The first in the series of picnics was held on July 28 at Colonial Lake Park. The second was held on Aug. 4 at Village Park. Food trucks from House of Cupcakes and Delorenzos provided food and desserts.
