Staten Island Man Found Dead In Car On NJ Turnpike

The incident happened on the NJ turnpike near Robbinsville, State Police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Staten Island man was found dead in his car on NJ turnpike near Robbinsville Friday night, New Jersey State Police said.

On Friday, Dec. 3 around 10:28 p.m., State Troopers found a black sedan parked on the ramp of interchange 7, on the shoulder. Troopers found Gerald J. Daniello, 48, of Staten Island non-responsive in the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is currently active and no additional information is available at this time.
