Student Struck By Snow Plow At Rider, University Says

BREAKING: The unnamed student was hit on campus at about 2 p.m.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A student at Rider University was hit by a snow plow on campus Wednesday afternoon, University Spokeswoman Kristine Brown confirmed.

The unnamed student was hit by the plow at about 2 p.m., and has been transported to the hospital, Brown said in an email.

The student was hit while outside Lincoln Hall, according to a Twitter post from Mary-Lyn Buckley, a junior reporter for Fox 29 and a senior at the university.

No further information was immediately available. Plows were on campus cleaning up snow as a nor'easter blasted the region on Wednesday.
