Talented Sewing Volunteers Needed for Bereavement Support Project
Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice is looking for talented sewing volunteers to make unique keepsakes for those who survive a hospice loss.

The Volunteer Department of the Mercer County office of Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice is looking for talented sewing volunteers to make unique keepsakes for those who survive a hospice loss.
This project is a simple idea, but it can be a very powerful tool to ease the grief of a loved one or family member.
Hospice families’ will be invited to submit favorite articles of clothing that belonged to the hospice patient. The sewing volunteer would then follow a specific pattern to turn those clothes into a special teddy bear that grievers can hug and talk to, when they start missing their loved-one.
