Tik Tok School Threat Not Credible, Says Lawrence Police
A nationwide "challenge" on TikTok warning of school violence on Friday is not "credible," the police department said.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Lawrence Township Police Department is remaining vigilant after a disturbing new nationwide TikTok "challenge." This new trend encourages violence this Friday at schools around the country, but they did not name any specific targets.
"At this time, this information has been vetted through several law enforcement sources and there is no specific, credible threat to any of our schools," Police Chief Brian M. Caloiaro said.
Caloiaro said the police department is working with law enforcement partners at the Federal, state, county, and local levels to ensure all lines of communication are open and all relevant information is shared.
