A Time to Give Thanks

Members of the Hopewell Valley Police Department join students at Titusville Academy for a Thanksgiving Feast

Each year, The Titusville Academy, a private non-profit school in Hopewell Township, serves up a full Thanksgiving feast to its students and staff, giving the school community time to reflect on those things for which they are thankful. As part of the tradition and celebration, members of the Hopewell Valley Police force are invited to break bread and enjoy a meal with the students.

“We are deeply honored that Hopewell Valley’s finest could join us again this year, as our students celebrate Thanksgiving,” said Deborah Zerbib, Executive Director of The Titusville Academy. “It is so important for our students to know that they are part of our community.”

The Titusville Academy is a New Jersey approved private school serving students ages five through 21 who have learning and behavioral difficulties. Students are placed by their local school district, and attend at no cost to parents. To learn more, go to http://titusvilleacademy.org/
