Traveling Art: Local Farmer, International Artist

When local farmer David Zaback of Z Food Farms on Princeton Pike in Lawrenceville was in search of someone to paint his farm’s delivery truck he had no idea where the hunt would lead him. On a recent trip to one of his weekly farm market stops at the Andaz Hotel Wall Street NYC, a place of true community spirit, a hotel manager presented him with an amazing opportunity to have the truck receive the makeover of a lifetime. Dmote, a world famous New York based street artist hailing from Sydney Australia, appreciated the dedication and passion that David has for the Organic Z Food Farm and offered his art for this traveling venue.

Since the early 90’s Dmote has accomplished a phenomenal plethora of work and now is entering into the next stage and focus of his career. The Z Food Farm Facebook site has a video of the creation process from start to finish to add insight into the artist’s process. The farm also invites art lovers to visit it’s local farm market and markets in Philly and NYC for a close up viewing. This offers area residents an opportunity to experience art outside the box - on the box truck!
