Uncontested Primary Race Kicks Off In Lawrence Township
All candidates are running uncontested. The primary is scheduled for June 6.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — An uncontested primary kicked off the 2023 election cycle with three Democrats filing by state deadline seeking their party's nomination for Lawrence Township council.
No Republican has filed to run for the Republican party nomination for the primary.
Mayor John T Ryan is seeking his party's nomination for another term. Olympia I'liou Perry and Patricia Hendricks Farmer are running uncontested to secure the Democratic nomination.

Councilman Mike Powers announced he will not be seeking reelection in 2023. Councilwoman Cathleen Lewis resigned from the Council earlier this year after being elected to the Mercer County Board of County Commissioners.
The primary is scheduled for June 6.
