Washington Crossing Audubon Chapter Offers Scholarship to NAS's Educators Workshop At Hog Island Nature Center, Maine, July 2015
Scholarship opportunity for educators from Washington Crossing Audubon Society
Outdoor or environmental teachers and educators in Central New Jersey are invited to apply for a scholarship to a week-long Teacher’s Workshop to be held July 19-24, 2015 at National Audubon’s Hog Island Nature Center on Muscongus Bay, Maine. The recipient will interact with well-known natural history and environmental authorities and teachers to explore many aspects of environmental teaching and field techniques, along with hand’s-on experiences and field trips to identify different habitats and the plants and animals that occupy them.
WCAS will award only one scholarship, which covers workshop tuition and all expenses while on the island. It will not cover travel expenses.

Please include: your contact information; your current position; teaching experience; and how you plan to apply the knowledge gained at Hog Island.
