Washington Crossing Audubon Presents: "Nearctic-Neotropic Bird Banding in Hopewell and Costa Rica"

Discussion of research by Washington Crossing Audubon board members linking bird migration and conservation in North and Central Americas

Washington Crossing Audubon Society will host a free, public presentation at 8 PM on Monday, March 21 by avian researchers and Society board members, Hannah Suthers and Tyler Christensen. This program will highlight the important link between two complementary research programs – one a 38-year study of old field succession and changing bird life in the Hopewell Sourlands and the other a 5-year study of tropical and migratory land bird populations on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica – and how these programs are contributing to the understanding of the important link between avian migration and avian conservation.

The program will be held in Stainton Hall in the campus of the Pennington School, 112 W. Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ. Refreshments are served at 7:30 PM and the talk will begin at 8 PM. The public is invited. Additional information can be found at www.washingtoncrossingaudubon.org. Follow us on Facebook.
