• Mountain Lake algae bloom reaches highest levels recorded in 5 years, association says (wrnjradio.com) — Mountain Lake in Liberty Township is under a harmful algae bloom advisory, with cyanobacteria levels at their highest since monitoring began, so swimming, pet exposure, and eating caught fish are discouraged. The Mountain Lake Community Association will present an action plan at a June 11 meeting at the Mountain Lake Firehouse and urges concerned residents to attend and stay tuned for ongoing water-quality updates.
