• Bayway refinery lockout: Will NJ gas prices rise? (nj1015.com) — A lockout of about 400 union workers at Phillips 66’s Bayway refinery in Linden has union leaders warning of fuel supply issues, even as analysts predict little impact on gas prices. The refinery is running with a temporary crew while workers picket along Routes 1 and 9, and negotiations between the company and Teamsters Local 877 are continuing.
   

• Another refinery locked out union workers over labor dispute (nwitimes.com) — Nearly 400 union workers have been locked out at Phillips 66’s Bayway Refinery and Linden Terminal after rejecting a contract offer, prompting safety concerns from Linden Mayor Derek Armstead. With management now running the massive facility, union leaders warn families are bearing the cost of the lockout while both sides trade statements over wages, health care, and protections.
   

• Linden joins growing list of New Jersey municipalities banning AI data centers (news12.com) — Linden officials have approved a ban on artificial intelligence data centers, blocking the energy-hungry facilities from setting up in the city’s heavily industrial zones. Citing concerns over power and water use, limited permanent jobs, and environmental impacts, city leaders and residents pushed the ordinance, which now positions Linden at the center of a statewide campaign for a broader moratorium.
