Oceanport Over 40 Softball Signups

Oceanport is recruiting now to try and field a softball team for the summer. Here is an announcement from the organizer:

The Two River Men’s Softball League (TRMSL) is an over 40, slow pitch (with a 6 - 12 foot arc) softball league consisting of 18 teams from several towns in the area.

A total of 13 games (plus playoffs) are played in the summer during the week (Tue – Thu at 6:15 PM). Oceanport has 3 teams in this league. Several residents have expressed an interest in playing. However, the existing team’s rosters are full. Next year, we are losing a team in the league so we are looking for a replacement.

Oceanport is looking to provide this team and the sooner we can give the league a commitment, the better our chances are of getting to add an Oceanport team..

If you are over 40 as of June 1st, 2012 and would like to play, now is the time to sign up.
