Church Lane to Remain Open to Two-Way Traffic
Over sized vehicles will be restricted

Drivers will continue to enjoy two-way access on Church Lane in following a to one way on the tiny cut through between Church Street and Rumson Road.
The resident, Robert Pohlman -- whose driveway exits onto Church Lane -- met with the Traffic and Safety Committee last week and all agreed to maintain a two-way thoroughfare, according to Councilman Dane Mihlon at the March 19 borough council meeting.
"Everyone came away very happy," said Mihlon on the consensus reached at the meeting, which was also attended by the other home owner with a driveway leading out onto Church Lane and a borough police officer.

Pohlman had come before the Little Silver Borough Council at its March 5 meeting to discuss the issue and they pointed him in the direction of the upcoming Traffic and Safety Committee meeting.
In a highly un-scientific poll posted on Patch on March 7 asking residents if they thought road traffic should be restricted on Church Lane to one way, 81 percent of the 116 voters felt the borough should make the change.
