Little Silver House Knocked Down to Make Way for Parking Lot
All that's left Friday morning is a lot of dirt.
Director Anita O'Brien said it felt like "an earthquake" on Thursday when constructions workers knocked down a nearby building to make way for an expanded municipal parking lot.
The borough-owned building at 466 Prospect Ave. was torn down May 24 as work begins to connect a to an existing parking lot and the construction of a storage/restroom/concession structure that will be close to borough fields.
