14-Year-Old N.J. Girl Dies At Soccer Team Sleepover
The 14-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a tent at a sleepover around 9 a.m. Saturday.

A young girl was with a girl’s soccer team when she died at a sleepover in New Jersey on Saturday, police said.
Kara Lemanowicz was supposed to start her first day of high school this Tuesday when she was discovered dead over the weekend at the sleepover, according to nj.com.
Lemanowicz of Voorhees was discovered dead at a home on Barnsboro Road in Mantua. Lemanowicz, according to the report.
The 14-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a tent at a sleepover in Gloucester County, around 9 a.m. Saturday, according to 6abc.
The homeowners called 911, and paramedics pronounced the girl dead at the scene. The girl’s soccer team, Eastern Girls Soccer, posted a tweet Saturday identifying her as Eastern Regional High School freshman Kara Lemanowicz, according to the report.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office has ruled out foul play, but said no alcohol and/or drug use is suspected. But authorities believe a possible medical condition may have led to the girl’s death, according to the 6abc report.
