18/8 Fine Men's Salon Signs Multi-Unit Agreement
Entrepreneurial Couple Introduce New Jersey to a New Grooming Experience.
Livingston – 18|8 Fine Men’s Salon is proud to announce its plans to open its first New Jersey location, offering a collection of the highest quality services and indulgences tailored to bring the best out of any man.
The new 18|8 Fine Men’s Salon, set to open in Livingston, will channel the essence of cool confidence directly to its discerning clientele. Leaving men looking their best – and feeling even better – 18|8 offers men the same transformative effect from which the name 18|8 comes. That is, just as the formula for stainless steel: 18% chromium + 8% nickel when added to regular steel resulted in that supreme metal, 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons offers its clients that same transformative effect – improving both look and performance.
The concept, which originated from California, was able to capture the fun, professional and distinctive quality services attracting entrepreneurs like Gavin and Daniela Horinouchi to bring it to New Jersey. The first salon will open in Livingston Town Center located on the corner of East Mount Pleasant Ave and North Livingston Ave. The couple has plans to open two additional salons in neighboring New Jersey areas in the next 3 years, providing more opportunity for men to experience the best personalized service and leave the salon feeling their best. There are currently 11 18|8 Fine Men’s salons in five states with dozens of additional franchise units under development across the nation.

“It is empowering and enjoyable for us men in NJ to now have our own place to take care of ourselves in a stylish, modern environment where the professional stylists take their time to bring the best out of our appearance in a relaxing and comfortable way,” said Gavin, who works in the finance industry. “The experience at 18|8 is unlike one at an ordinary hair salon. When men walk in, they are entering a one-of-a-kind retreat from the outside world.”
At 18|8, men can relax in the brand’s signature lounge area before their grooming services, which range from cuts and styling (modern and classic) to straight edge hot lather shaves, facials, massages, scalp treatments and more. Customers may even purchase memberships that provide member perks such as complimentary cleanups and other bonus grooming services.
