2 Men Hurt After Car Crashes into Tree
The accident on Wednesday night happened on W. Hobart Gap Road.
Two Livingston men were injured on Wednesday night when their car slid off West Hobart Gap Road and hit a tree.
The driver, Mitchell Raab, 20, and his passanger, Melvin Manny, 20, were both removed from the car, a 2001 Honda, by Livingston fire and rescue personnel. They were transported to the Morristown Memorial Hospital trauma unit with non-life threatening injuries, said Det. Sgt. Anthony Dippold.
The accident at 7:36 p.m. happened at the bend near Meadowbrook Drive, a section of road that was flooded earlier in the day after . Police said the road was still wet and may have contributed to the accident. The accident remains under investigation.
