2 Women Charged After Being Stopped In Stolen Car In Livingston

Livingston police spotted a stolen car in Livingston and charged the two occupants with receiving stolen property.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston police charged two women earlier this week after pulling over a stolen car.

Police said that on Sunday at 9:03 p.m., a Livingston police officer saw a 2013 Infiniti G37 traveling on West Mount Pleasant Avenue. The officer determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

The officer stopped the vehicle and arrested the occupants.

Driver Jennifer Farace, 37, from South River, was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, police say. The passenger, Dinessa Gehring, 39, from Helmetta, was charged with receiving stolen property.

They were both taken to the Essex County Jail.

Other Motor Vehicle Reports

The next day, Monday, Dec. 19, around 12:37 a.m., a Livingston police officer saw a 2003 Cadillac traveling on South Livingston Avenue that appeared to have stolen license plates. Police stopped the car.

The driver, William Bonilla, 37, from Bergen, was arrested, police said. He was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had outstanding warrants, police said. He was taken to the Essex County Jail.

Police also said that a car was stolen from a Chadwick Road residence on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Police responded to the home at 6:34 a.m. that day. The victim said a 2023 BMW had been stolen from the driveway during the overnight hours. It had been left unlocked with a key fob inside, the owner said. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
