3 Intruders Enter Livingston Home While Owner Sleeps: Police
The homeowner didn't realize the crime took place until he woke up, Livingston police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Three people broke into a Livingston home earlier this week, possibly in an attempt to steal car keys, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Stratford Drive at 9:51 a.m. on Saturday after getting a report about a burglary.
The homeowner told officers that his house was illegally entered during the overnight hours. He didn’t realize the crime took place until he woke up, police said.

Surveillance video footage showed three people breaking into the home and then fleeing the scene. Police said they may have been looking for keys to the homeowner’s vehicles.
The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the break-in, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available.
