5 New Jersey Pizzerias Among Nation's Best
New rankings by The Daily Meal list the top 101 pizza joints in the United States, including five in New Jersey.
If you live in New Jersey, you already know the state boasts many excellent pizzerias.
But it never hurts to have that distinction recognized nationally, and the fine-dining website The Daily Meal recently ranked the 101 Best Pizzas in America for 2016.
Five New Jersey pizzerias made the list, including two in the same town. None of them were higher than 50 (No Zoni's Coal Fired Pizza in Middletown? No Pat's Pizza in Point Pleasant Boro?).

"Which pizzerias truly serve pies to seek out, return for, and be in awe of?" writes The Daily Meal. "It’s more difficult than ever to answer that question."

- No. 50 - Santillo's Brick Oven Pizza, Elizabeth
- No. 51 - Star Tavern Pizzeria, Orange
- No. 62 - Delorenzo's Tomato Pies, Robbinsville
- No. 80 - Papa’s Tomato Pies, Robbinsville
- No. 99 - Reservoir Tavern, Boonton
