Photos: Perfect Friday Night Under the Lights
Wolkstein is the star of the show as Livingston defeats Millburn, 20-14.
It was a perfect night for football: Chilly enough to be cozy in the stands under a blanket. Brisk enough for hot chocolate. And the crowd was loud and large as Millburn hosted Livingston under the stadium lights Friday night.
The score was tied 14 at the half but Livingston’s Zach Wolkstein rushed 13 yards for a score with 2:48 remaining in the fourth quarter to give Livingston a 20-14 victory over Millburn. Wolkstein ended the night with 225 yards rushing with three touchdowns, the other two came in the first quarter from 11 and 10 yards out. Livingston finished the game with 256 total yards rushing.
Millburn’s hometown fans came out early for a tailgate party and welcomed back members of the Class of 1961 for their 50th reunion.

On the Livingston side, it was standing room only as the visitors filled the entire visiting side of the stadium to (loudly) cheer on the Lancers, now 2-0 on the season.
