Adopt a Furry Friend at Livingston Mall

Local animal lovers have the chance to adopt a cat or dog at Livingston Mall

In cooperation with Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, Orphaned Pets, Inc., and Montclair Township Animal Shelter, Simon’s Livingston Mall is hosting Pet Adoption Day allowing local animal lovers the chance to meet and adopt a furry friend. The event will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, outside the mall’s main entrance, near Barnes & Noble.

Throughout the day, families can meet and play with a variety of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. Skilled representatives will be on–site providing information about the animals as well as discussing adoption opportunities. Prior to the event, guests can visit the organization’s websites to view some of the pets that will be available for adoption.

“We are pleased to work with these three organizations and give our shoppers the opportunity to welcome a new pet to the family,” commented Maria Gregorius, area director of marketing and business development for Livingston Mall. “All animals deserve a loving home and this event is a great way to connect them with new, caring families.”
