Did you see a congratulatory airplane banner flying over Livingston? Here's what it was celebrating.

Livingston, NJ – Did you see a congratulatory airplane banner flying over Livingston on Wednesday?
That’s the sign that nearly 40,000 striking Verizon employees have gone back to work.
The airplane banner was seen flying over locations in North and Central Jersey on June 1, an apparent nod to thousands of strikers and supporters who claimed “big gains” from a hard-fought contract negotiating session that drug on for nearly 50 days.

Livingston was the site of one of the first protests in New Jersey when the massive strike began on April 13.

On May 27, federal officials announced that Verizon and the striking workers had reached a tentative agreement.
