Kessler Institute Honored for Contrbutions to the Hispanic Community

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation (www.kessler-rehab.com) was recently presented with the 2011 Golden Age Award from the Latino Center on Aging (LCA) for its significant contributions to Latino/Hispanic communities. The LCA, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, recognized Kessler for its outstanding leadership in the field of health care and, in particular, medical rehabilitation. 


    In accepting the award on behalf of the hospital, Gail Solomon, Vice President of Corporate Communications,and resident of Livingston, noted that “Kessler Institute and the Latino Center on Aging share an uncommon commitment to those we serve, helping individuals to age with grace and understanding, dignity, independence and most of all, good health.  We also share a vision for our communities, providing the education, advocacy and access to care that greatly enhances the quality of life for our constituents.”


    Philip Driscoll, CEO of Kessler’s Saddle Brook hospital campus, and Bill Anastassatos, President of Kessler Rehabilitation Center (www.kessler-pt.com), also expressed their appreciation for this honor, noting how proud Kessler is to serve the complex medical rehabilitation and physical therapy needs of its diverse communities throughout the greater Metropolitan area.
