Autism Awareness In Livingston: PD To Hold Community Breakfast Event
The Livingston Police Department is inviting people with special needs and their families to a community breakfast.

The Livingston Police Department is holding a special Community Breakfast to celebrate the start of Autism Awareness Month.
This inclusive event welcomes individuals with special needs and their families to the Senior Community Center at 204 Hillside Avenue on Saturday, March 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Attendees can look forward to sensory-friendly activities, information about programs and services available for individuals with special needs, and a craft station run by students from AYLUS. Attendees can also purchase a commemorative Autism Awareness challenge coin from the Livingston Police Department, with all proceeds benefiting Spectrum 360 and LifeTown, organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
“We are proud to host this event and provide a welcoming space for our community to come together and celebrate Autism Awareness Month,” Livingston Police Chief Gary Marshuetz said.

“This breakfast is an opportunity to for our department to connect and show our support for individuals with special needs and their families,” Marshuetz said.
