As the new school year begins, find all types of Livingston events and activities in one location through Burbio's free digital service.
The beginning of the school year is a busy time for parents and students. September and the start of school mean keeping track of various clubs, activities, meetings, sports, practices, and events.
“It can be challenging to coordinate different calendars and stay up to date with the latest updates,” stated Mayor Ed Meinhardt. “One easy way to make sure you’re remembering key events and dates is to sign up for Livingston Burbio – the Township’s free community-wide calendar.”
Burbio is a free digital service that helps resident stay informed by putting together school, library, recreation, team, and other events into a single, easy-to-read community calendar.

The Township of Livingston has continually published the official meeting dates for special events and for Township Council, Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings. When visiting the home page of the Township’s website at www.livingstonnj.org, users will find two options:
- A “Township Meetings & Events” calendar tab, making it easy to identify official event and meeting dates.
- A “Community-Wide Calendar” tab takes users to a single, combined calendar that includes events and information from all kinds of Township groups, whether official, private, or volunteer.
Burbio.com is a free website and app that allows users to select specific group calendars to follow, create a personalized event feed, sync events to Google or iPhone calendars instantly, and get notified when things change.

Individuals can sign up, and groups can register their calendar feed through www.Burbio.com. Once registered, the events will appear on the Community-Wide Calendar on Livingston’s website.
Non-profit, volunteer groups and organizations in Livingston are encouraged to register with Burbio to ensure that residents see their events on the Township’s Community-Wide Calendar.
